We are currently working on trying to put some of these poems on audio. If everything goes as planned.

God Says

This world doesn’t think much of me
I don’t wear designer clothes
And no I don’t drive them flashy cars
Nor do I have a lot of money
So this old world looks down on me.

But God says……
I’m amazing.
I’m incredible and wonderful.
A perfect child, Made pure by his own Son

When this world starts putting me down
Because of how I look
Or because of the way I speak
Or because I don’t put other down
I smile to myself because…

God says……
I’m amazing.

This world can point and laugh at me
When I kneel and pray.
If they look at me strange when I sing
Then they can turn away.
I’m not here to please this world
That isn’t what counts anyway.

Here For You

What you need is here for you.
Can’t you see?
It’s always been right in front of you.
Can’t you see?
My love’s always been right here for you.

When you came in from a long hard day,
I was here to wash your worries away.
When you were sick and the days were long,
I was there to comfort and make you strong.
Open your eyes can’t you see
what’s right in front of you
Don’t you understand my love,
Is pure and true.

What you need is here for you.

When you hurt so bad you could not say,
With tears in my eyes I helped you pray.
When you were confused and got off track,
I searched for you to help bring you back.
Look to the cross and you will see.
What is right in front of you,
Then you will understand His love,
That it is pure and true.
