Confusing, Confusion
Too many thoughts coming at one time,
Too many words for me to find a rhyme.
Spinning like a buzz saw within my head;
Changing thoughts into words to be said.
A shattered fragment goes flying by,
A nagging thought like a speck in the eye.
Memories of those thoughts long since past,
Preys on a mind too weak to make them last.
Kneeling inside a whirlpool, eyes open wide,
World spinning round, fears I can not hide.
From the light to the dark no shades of gray;
My only salvation is found in the Lord I pray.
My trials are fleeting and my pain is brief,
The Spirit come to comfort and brings relief.
The world will be sadly, as the world will be;
Refusing the Lord and His offer to be set free.
As the Lord speaks let me hear and know;
Where His love does leads, there let me go.
The Devil may use confusion, tricks and snares,
But it is in the Lord my God I place my cares.
