Hear and Do

Blessed are those wrapped in forgiveness;
For they know the Lord above.
Blessed are those who are found blameless;
For they walk in His love.

Turn my eyes away from worldly things;
Keep me walking in your way.
Teach me, Lord, the ways of your decrees,
that I may follow what you say.

Grant me wisdom that I may keep your laws
With all my heart and obey.
Let your commands be the pure delight,
That I follow till the end of day.

How can my heart be found pure and true?
By living in your forgiving love.
How may I be free from fear and doubt?
By placing all my trust in the Lord above.

Let my lips proclaim the truth of your word,
And let my life reflect your glory.
May I be found your good and faithful servant;
In the telling of your story.

Grant that I may search your word and find;
That my life may be lead by it.
Give me the passion and desire of your way;
That I may my life submit.
