For some it is the only time they honor God.
I know we all get caught up in the fray,
Yet our Lord blesses us each and every day.
Many can only find time once or twice a year,
To go to church where His word they will hear.
Christmas, Easter and maybe Thanksgiving;
These days we set aside for praise giving.
Do we not understand do we not know?
It is by meeting together that we grow.
We gather together to hear His message
And we may be freed from sin’s bondage.
As we encourage each other, we grow strong,
In time we find that in fellowship we belong.
Together in one voice giving God the praise,
We worship Him with hearts and hands raised.
In our own hearts, we know what God has done,
And we meet together praising God for His Son.
We know His mercy and grace and many blessings,
So it is with a full and loving hearts together we sing.
If we know God’s blessings and His great love,
Shouldn’t each of our days worship Him above?
He richly blesses us in the morning light.
He protects us through the dark of night.
So praising Him with our lives is only right.
