Alone I was destined to shrivel and die.
In that land I found no water of life,
All I found was trails, struggle and strife.
I seek you, you are my Living Water.
You are the Lord God; my Holy Potter.
In your holy words of love I seek you;
For in my heart I know they are true.
I thirst for you, oh Lord, give me drink;
Show me what to do and how to think.
I looked and seen your mighty power;
Your glory was majestic, a radiant shower.
Dwell in me and make me your sanctuary;
May this life that you gave reflect your glory.
I do not wish to know a day without your love;
I want to shout your praise to the stars above.
At your name I lift my hand and I receive,
You teach your truth so I will not deceived.
I sit at your table and I am fully satisfied.
It’s the richest feast the Master did not deny.
The warmth of your love surrounds me;
I rest in your comfort knowing in you I’m free.
