No one wants the responsibility,
For raising their young in a way,
That innocent must have to pay.
Young children out running wild,
With no one to correct the child;
Heaven help the one who dares,
Express their concerns and cares.
Is it any wonder what we see?
And how this world came to be,
When parents let kids go stray,
Thinking there’s no consequences to pay?
I have children and I well know,
It’s not easy to watch them grow.
We don’t always see what they do,
But we must find out what is true.
If someone speaks correction
To your child giving direction,
Thank them for their concern;
They’ve taught a lesson learned.
