Love To You

I love the Lord! He who came to my rescue.
He heard the pleas of this sinner of no value.
Because of His grace mercy He show to me;
He will be my Lord as long as life shall be.

While mired down, trapped in my dark sin,
The cords of death strangling from within,
My eyes opened to a cold grave before me.
With deep sorrow I called out; “Lord save me!”

The Lord, is gracious and full of compassion,
His light came to my heart to give me direction.
He came and pulled me out of sins dark hole;
And allowed rest to come again to my soul.

The Lord has been and is doing good for me.
He delivered me from death and set me free.
My eyes fill with tears, my knees grow weak;
As I stand before my Lord unable to speak.

How can I return the goodness He shows to me?
Will I lift up salvations cup to the only Lord that be?
By His strength I will live my life His glory to show.
Living my life in praise to my Lord that all will know.

Grant it Lord that I may serve as my mother did;
Always faithful with a grateful heart she never hid.
Keep me strong, my Lord, that I may serve you,
Let my voice ring out in song and verse love to you.
