Secure

In my time of grief, as tears flowed down my face,

He came and with joy, my mourning He did replace.

The mountains may fall, and the seas run dry.

The sun may grow dark, the stars fall from the sky.


I am secure in the Lord;

I can never be shaken.

I am saved by my Lord;

My salvation can never be taken.


He was in the fire with the Hebrew children;

And He was with Daniel in the loin’s den.

In His word His love and promises do I see;

I know that my Lord is right here with me.


I am secure in the Lord;

I can never be shaken.

I am saved by my Lord;

My salvation can never be taken.


My Lord is in control; in Him do I trust.

We need not to worry; it’s not up to us.

Great is the freedom and joy I now know;

He guards my path and guides me where I go.
