Speak Out

Speak you who God redeemed from sin;

Let you be the first to tell your story.

Those who have been scattered join in,

Give thanks to the Lord in all His glory.


From the east and west, north and south,

Join now with your family, clan and tribe.

Come rejoicing, proclaiming with the mouth

The words of the prophets and scribes.


No longer to wander in the wasteland,

For the Good Shepard made straight the way.

He calls and His flock obeys His command;

He guards them by night and led them by day.


When they were in trouble, in distress,

He heard their moaning, pleas and cries.

With haste He came with gentle caress,

He calmed their fears and dried their eyes.


You blessed by God, speak that others know;

Let all areas of your lives reflect His love.

Give voice to the truth that others may grow;

Tell everyone of God’s loving mercy from above.
