His eyes watch over me in everything.
In the darkness, the Lord hears my cries;
He comes with comfort and dried my eyes.
As I rise I lay my request before Him;
He is my guide as the day grows dim.
Although I may not always see His hand,
I’ll trust in Him and follow His command.
I speak to Him with all concern and care,
Everything to Him in my heartfelt prayer.
He places in my heart His desire and will;
That I may pray for His strength to fulfill.
I lay before Him my request for everything,
As I follow His lead waiting, expecting, knowing.
He is the Lord my God, the Father of us all;
He knows what is best. He will not let us fall.
He grants that which He has placed in us;
His timing is perfect, in Him we will trust.
We know that He answers all of our prayers,
He is our loving Father, we know He cares.
It may not be what we want but we know,
There will be times that His answer is no.
He doesn’t always answer as we think He should,
But He answers in a way that does what is good.
