'tis I that is Blessed

You are as beautiful as a pearl, my darling,
as lovely as a diamond, as majestic as a queen.
Your eyes like jewels in the night; they consume me.
Your hair is as the finest silk, soft and smooth.

Your teeth the ivory bars behind ruby gates,
The softness beacons for me to draw near.
Your alabaster skin glistens by morning light,
My mind is filled with the perfume of the night.

Your angelic glow warms my inner most part.
The sweet fragrance of pomegranate and honey
Filling the air, intoxicating they cloud my thoughts.
Sounds of love fills my ears and ignite my passion.

Long have I searched but have never found,
Many the wasted nights, I searched for the unknown.
But you my dove, my perfect one, you are unique,
Melting gently into my arms, completing my heart.

Many are the young women that see you and smile
They whisper and point, calling you blessed.
But the young are not wise, they see with the eyes;
But the wise know in their heart ‘tis I that is blessed.
