It’s always been right in front of you.

I was there to comfort and make you strong.
Open your eyes can’t you see
what’s right in front of you

Is pure and true.

When you hurt so bad you could not say,
With tears in my eyes I helped you pray.
When you were confused and got off track,
I searched for you to help bring you back.
Look to the cross and you will see.
What is right in front of you,
Then you will understand His love,
That it is pure and true.

- I am a son and grandson of a preacher. And my mother was a Baptist lay person. But that doesn't mean I've always walked the straight and narrow. It wasn't until much later in life that I saw the error of my ways.
