Come to Me

Lord of all creation; come to me this day,
Grant me that I may walk with you today.
Oh Lord, Write upon my heart your laws,
Open my eyes that I may see my flaws.

Purge from my life that which is of sin,
Send your Spirit; come dwell within.
My Lord, be the rule over me in all I do;
In every way let me reflect the glory of you.

My lips sing praise and my heart overflows,
In the mist of my trials your blessing shows.
Firm is your grip as your gentle hands hold,
Surely guiding me as my days grow old.

The storms of my yesterdays are in the past,
Your loving arms surround with peace at last.
My race hard and long, but my goal I now see,
Closer ever closer to you is where I long to be.

Your love has forgiven me of my great wrong,
And by your word you will keep me ever strong.
I hold tight to your promise, I know your love;
My trust is in you, salvation is from God above.
