Egypt Land

Give praise to the Lord, how great is His name.

Let every nation know what He has done,

Tell of His wonderful acts, and His glory proclaim.

Your hearts know the Lord our God is one.

Look to the Lord, His strength guards our way.

With each step you take seek His will.

Walk close with Him and seek His face always.

He is with you in the valley or on the hill.

Remember the wonders and miracles He has done;

A thousand generations know of His promise.

To Abraham, Isaac and Jacob He vowed as one,

An oath, an everlasting covenant, He gave notice.

When Joseph was bound in irons, but did not fear;

He knew the Lord his God would come through.

The King released him free and it was made clear;

The word of the Lord had been proven to be true.

The Lord blessed His people, and they were fruitful;

Their numbers grew and grew before their foes.

The hearts of their foes was jealous and fearful;

So God sent Moses to answer His people’s woes.

Through Moses God showed them many signs;

He sent snakes and water to blood in the land.

He even struck down the first fruit of mankind;

Then Pharaoh, grieved, heeded God’s command.

God blessed His people and brought them out,

A cloud covered them, and fire lit up the night.

He parted the waters, so there would be no doubt,

He protected their every step with His might.
