Now You Know

When hard times and trouble come my way,

My God has granted me this to say.

I don’t know how He’s going to do it,

I just know He’s going to help me through it.


When those old dark clouds roll in,

I can stand with my back to the wind.

When in time of struggles I must cope,

He is my reason and the birth of my hope.


In days long gone by, in times of old,

He has proven to be strong and bold.

When I became weak, unable to stand,

He was always there reaching out His hand.


I face many days that I’m unsure about,

But He is the One of whom I have no doubt.

My body be racked with pain and shake,

But in His arms my rest I will take.


He is the true promise I hold on to,

For what He has done and will do.

That is why I can say,

I don’t know how He’s going to do it,

I just know He’s going to help me through it.

I don’t know but I know, so now you know.
