Kingdom, Power and Glory

How do these three words work together? What should they mean to us as Christians?

Kingdom:
As Christians we proclaim on oath that our lives are ruled by one King, that of our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus. How often do we take the time to meditate on this simple statement and what it means?
His Kingdom that was from the beginning has no end; a Kingdom that can never be destroyed. Oceans may dry up, and mountains may crumble to dust, but His Kingdom will stand strong forever.
We are more than just citizens of the Kingdom of the Most High God. We are in fact chosen to be children of our King. It is His royal blood that gives us life. And as a part of the kingdom we desire to buildup and strengthen our kingdom. We have a cause and purpose to carry the message of who we are in Christ the King. We are of one family and just as in a family not all have the same talents. But each uses what they do posses for the enhancement of the whole family.
It is with awe and wonder we can come before our King, the creator of every good thing, and ask of Him anything, knowing He will receive us as His children. This alone should fill us joy and peace to the point of overflowing. We should not be able to contain our excitement. With a smile on our face and a song on our lips we proclaim the love of Christ in our hearts.
Look on this world; hear the cries of those lost in the dark. We are the children of the Kingdom of Light, the messengers to bring the light of hope to this dark place. We can change the world one life at a time by what we say and how we live. This is the mighty power that our loving King has given us.

Power:
The Lord has given us authority and the power to accomplish the task He has set out before us.  His power is the power of our awesome God, who created all things in heaven and on earth; He is our source.
He does not give us this power that we may use it for our own selfish desires.  The power is ours when we are following the will of God. When we are doing that which He has given us to do, He gives us His power to see it through. No one can stop his power to complete what He sets out to do. His power is in His word. His word goes out and does not return to Him empty. When we speak His word we plant a seed in someone’s heart that others will tend and nourish that it may grow. Somewhere in our life someone planted a seed in us. And God’s power began to work through His word in our heart, drawing us closer to Him. Our lives can then be lived in worship to Him; that His name may be praised that all may see His glory.

Glory:
Worshipful praise, honoring God and giving thanks to Him for all He has done, is doing and will continue to do in our lives.  We are God’s creations, created to give Him glory.  Our lives should be lived to glorify Him.  Every day in every way we should bring our best to Him in praise and worship. None of us can live a perfect life outside of Christ.  That is why we praise Him in what we do and say. It is with a thankful heart because we are forgiven we yearn to honor Him.  It is His Spirit working in us that reveals to us what God has done and is doing that we may bring Him praise.
With out His Spirit we could not know Him and we would not praise Him. We worship and praise with thanks and honor; the Father who created us, the Son who saved us and the Holy Spirit that gives us purpose and life. All glory to God be given!
