Trusting in the Lord

There will be those day I know,

When savage winds will blow.

The storms may rage and howl,

As the evil one begin to prowl.

Some may tremble in fear,

And some may shed a tear.

Some may try to run away,

But right here I will stay…

Trusting in the Lord,

Yes I will be trusting in the Lord.

On some bright and shining day,

Some clouds may come my way.

I will not try to run and hide,

For the Lord is right by my side.

Trusting in the Lord,

Yes I will be trusting in the Lord.

When that sun is sinking low,

And it comes time for me to go

He will wrap me in His peace,

For His love will never cease.

You can find me right there,

Abiding in His loving care.

Trusting the promises of the Lord.

Yes I will be trusting in the Lord.
