Birthright

Birthright

We are called to be children of God above;

He sees us as royal brothers of Christ the King.

We are wrapped in a robe of His pure love;

In Him we have all we need, we have everything!


But some among us have become like Esau;

They have traded away their royal birthright.

They have been enticed by what they saw.

To the true treasure they did not hold tight.


Do not be deceived, do not fall for the snares;

Hold tight to that treasure that is Christ Jesus.

Your Father loves you, He is the one who cares.

He has given His promise He loves each of us.


Neither trade your treasure nor steal another’s.

But guard both treasures, yours and your brother’s.
